The 2010 Job Access and Reverse Commute(JARC) and New Freedom Solicitation Packages

Overview

The Metropolitan Council is the designated recipient of Federal Transit Administration funds under two programs: Job Access and Reverse Commute (JARC) and New Freedom. These funds are formula-based and awarded annually by the FTA. The FTA requires that the funds be regionally solicited in a competitive manner. The Metropolitan Council will solicit for these funding programs biennially. This solicitation will be accepting applications for funding with remaining federal fiscal year (FFY) 2009 funding as well as FFY 2010 and FFY 2011 funding.

The application deadline for these solicitation packages is October 1, 2010 at 5:00 p.m.
